INITIALISING

YOUR WORKSPACE

Welcome to PlanetLab

Explore real Earth, plan sites and design buildings.

What is the big globe?Real Earth mapping and elevation. Click a point on Earth to open its actual terrain.

What would you like to do?

Explore and plan without AI. Keys are only requested when you choose an AI feature. This is a conceptual simulation: no real-world planning or engineering validation.

High-resolution imagery settings

Free Sentinel-2 is about 10 m/pixel. Enable HD imagery in the map toolbar using the MapTiler key stored in Providers & Keys.

Variants are saved in this browser for the selected Earth location. Image edits are visual concepts only, not real site clearance or GIS updates. A provider call may incur charges.

Perspective concept gallery

Draw a rectangle over the current perspective view, generate a base concept, then open it as a layered composition. From there you can draw smaller patches, stack new AI generations, and keep the layers aligned.

After drawing a rectangle, press Enter to review the exact image crop that will be sent to AI.

Terrain, flood exposure, road access and utilities will be screened before buildings are placed.

Measured elevation does not establish flood risk, access, utilities, ownership or planning permission.

Construction log

Systemic simulation, not engineering design. Geography, zoning, budgets and walking avatars are approximations. This prototype does not simulate building permits, structural safety, real-world construction costs or collision-free robot pathfinding.

Multiuser collaboration is an initial one-process WebSocket implementation; avatars still simulate locally. Public worlds are readable, but only owners may edit or upload assets.

05 / Building Studio + AI

Design a building on the selected terrain. Generate a model with Meta or build from dimensions below. Output is conceptual 3D geometry, not a buildable architectural plan.

Choose a site, describe a building, then generate or edit the 3D model.

Automatic GLB import requires an approved Tripo CDN host. If blocked, download the GLB and use the existing world media uploader.

Session-only mode: keys are kept in browser memory, never in localStorage, cookies, or the Planet Lab database. Reloading clears them.
